On the day North Carolina legislators return to work, the John Locke Foundation is unveiling its new book, First in Freedom: Transforming Ideas into Consequences for North Carolina.
It offers lawmakers and the new McCrory administration a series of ideas to help reform state policy on taxes, government spending, education, health care, and regulation. The book even offers suggestions for “rebooting” state government’s operating system.
