A Theory of Justice: The Musical

John Locke makes an appearance in the musical! From the press release:

A Theory of Justice: The Musical! was written by Oxford University students Eylon Aslan-Levy, Ramin Sabi and Tommy Peto, who are all final-year undergraduates reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics. The authors originally conceived of the writing process as an amusing revision method, but quickly saw enormous potential in what would be the world’s first feature-length musical about political philosophy.

Accompanying a script steeped in drama, humour and romance is a musical score that covers everything from a rap battle between John Locke and Thomas Hobbes (“The State Of Nature”) to a tango between Robert Nozick and Ayn Rand (“A Selfish Kind Of Love”) and a rock anthem from Jean-Jacques Rousseau (“Man Was Born Free”).
