The Biz Journal passes along this Bloomberg report that one of Herbalife’s major distributors has left the company to distribute Verve energy-drink products for Scottsdale, Arizona-based Vemma Nutrition Co.
Anthony Powell, who’s been distributing Herbalife products for 22 years, is also encouraging his 16,000 distributors to join him and is offering incentives to do so.
In case you need to be reminded, both Forsyth County and and the City of Winston-Salem are offering up a total of $3.45 million in incentives in addition to almost $9 million in state grants.
