I’ve met Rep. Price, and I think he is a fine individual. In terms of politics, however, he’s little more than an echo chamber for his party. I attended one of his speeches several years back, and I came away amazed that he could speak for and hour but not utter a single sentence that he developed in his own mind.
And he can say what he wants to, but if NC Democrats tried their best to keep his seat by eliminated Randolph county prior to his ’94 defeat. And since he won re-election, his margin of victory hasn’t been close. Does he want to have that conversation…?
