If you were looking for Associated Press coverage of yesterday’s gubernatorial debate, you won’t find it:

The Associated Press didn’t cover the second debate Tuesday evening in Research Triangle Park because the sponsor didn’t allow text reporters or still photographers inside the studio while the debate was taking place. The AP determined the restrictions violate basic demands of newsgathering.

Interesting. And also interesting that other news organizations (Raleigh News & Observer, Durham Herald-Sun etc.) didn’t draw the line there.
