• Rep. Mike McIntyre, D-7th, says he will continue to support moves to repeal the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare. His Republican opponent, David Rouzer, starts an online petition backing repeal.
• A Thursday candidate forum in Davidson County wound up as a debate over the Supreme Court’s decision on ObamaCare.
• A nine-year-old law involving annexation of property then-state Sen. Robert Pittinger partly owned has become an issue in Pittinger’s campaign against Jim Pendergraph for the Republican nomination for the 9th U.S. Congressional District.
• Americans for Prosperity makes a $1 million ad buy in North Carolina as part of a national campaign hitting the president on the taxes in ObamaCare.
