N&O online learning article earns a “strike” from CER

According to The Media Bullpen, an article from the News & Observer, “Virtual charter school in Cabarrus County presents concrete challenge,” earned a “strike” due to an inaccurate description of online learning.

What else do you expect from an article that includes only one quote from a proponent of the online charter school?  The reporter places that very short quote (“This is a viable option”) near the end of the piece.
