You might be a progressive if…

…the only area where you care at all that some people have to pay for other people’s benefits is health care. Food? Nope. Housing? Nope. Education? Nope. Retirement benefits? Nope. Transportation? Nope. Indeed in all of these areas your goal ultimately seems to be the opposite, i.e. to socialize costs. But suddenly for health care you are concerned about the fairness of it all. (A reminder, it is progressives who passed the laws in the first place that gave us the most aggressive transfer of health care costs from beneficiaries to non beneficiaries this country has ever see–Medicare and Medicaid.)
