Yadkin Riverkeeper and Wake Forest University’s Center for Energy, Environment and Sustainability welcome Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to Winston-Salem this Thursday, November 3. Mr. Kennedy will speak at Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University.
Mr. Kennedy is expected to speak about the relationship between energy independence, jobs and national wealth. The 7 p.m. presentation is free and open to the public.
Wells Fargo has signed on as the event Gold Sponsor and Flow Honda of Winston-Salem is the Green Energy Sponsor One lucky winner at the event will receive a one-year lease of a Honda Civic Hybrid. Other sponsors include the James G. Hanes Memorial Fund and Uwharrie Capital Corporation.
Yadkin Riverkeeper will host a reception at the Graylyn International Conference Center following Mr. Kennedy’s remarks. Tickets are $250 and include admission to the reception plus reserved parking and VIP seating at the presentation.
