Perhaps the feeling that one is talking to a bottle of medicine is more ubiquitous than supposed. This morning, the Wall Street Journal report, along with the NASDAQ and a few other numbers, told how sales of different types of antidepressants had changed. Then, the evening news had a story about more people using antidepressants. 20-25% of white working-age women are supposedly on some kind of antidepressant. Many have been on the pills for a long time without re-evaluations.

What if, for some reason like Obamacare rations, an FDA recall, or a pharmaceutical reformulation, the pills suddenly became unavailable? On the other hand, what if there was a big recall on caffeine?

Just wondering.
