The platform of the original Locker Room, which debuted on Aug. 19, 2003, had become a bit long in the tooth, so we have uprgraded to the latest version of WordPress for the new Locker Room. As do our regional blogs (Right Angles, Meck Deck, The Wild West, Piedmont Publius, and Squall Lines), the new and improved Locker Room allows readers to register and comment on our posts.

While the archive for the new Locker Room begins anew today at this link, you can always access the old Locker Room and its archives via the link on the right side of this page: “View Legacy Locker Room.”

We invite you to register as a commenter on the new Locker Room. To do so, simply click on one of the posts and scroll to the bottom where you’ll see an invitation to register. Click on that link and fill out the information. A password will be emailed to you shortly. Just be sure to follow our comments policy, which is:

As you post your comment, please conform to our simple comment policy: we welcome all perspectives, but require that comments be both civil and respectful. If you wouldn’t say it to a co-worker in front of your boss, it probably is not civil and respectful. We will delete any comment that fails this test and issue a warning to the poster. A second offense will result in a ban on commenting on this site. In sum, disagreements, arguments even, are welcome; abusive behavior is not. Thanks.
