I guess we should appreciate Yes Weekly’s strive for accuracy in its reporting. But there’s an interesting correction in this week’s issue:

In the June 20 issue, a story about the 10-year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness, “Barriers to ending homelessness seen from street,” misidentified a homeless man named Lee as a former aircraft mechanic. Lee never worked as a aircraft mechanic.

You have to wonder who alerted Yes!Weekly to the mistake. Did Lee call up and admit he’d never worked as an aircraft mechanic? Or did someone who knew Lee rat out the gap in his resume? Or did the editors do some retroactive fact-checking and were unable place Lee with any aircraft companies?

Then there’s the really important question: Who the hell cares?
