One has to wonder why ANY North Carolinians would be proud to support Edwards.  On the heels of his $400+ haircut, he goes on to a $1200+ haircut.  Hero to the poor?  It’s hard to preach about two Americas from the precipice of a 28,000 square foot home that cleared more trees than a future Walmart.  But I digress.

More troubling is Edwards refusal to answer questions relating to his stint at the UNC Edwards Promotion Center, I mean Poverty Center and other fund-raising efforts. According to the New York Times Edwards set up, “a series of entities to finance his travel, to finance a political shop and to finance an issues shop.”  From the StarNews, two of those organizations were tax-exempt and set up to fight poverty.  And much of these efforts were spent in Iowa (hmmmmm).

Interestingly enough, the law does not require that donors to these organizations be declared.  (more Hmmmm)  So Edwards, fighting poverty, was able to set up organizations to promote himself in Iowa (and other places) without having to report who supported those efforts?  Oh, and the open and honest Edwards refused to answer any questions relating to the matter from the Times.

Maybe folks in Iowa get it, ?The problem with him is that he talks very much like a car salesman ?
you see what I mean?? said Rhonda Fisher, a sociology professor at
Drake University.  Open the oven door, stick in the fork, yep, seems to be done.
